Habitat Maintenance of Longluan Lake and Nanren Lake in Kenting National Park.

Long-Luan Lake National Wetland at the junction of protected areas and non-protected areas, and it is an important habitat for migratory. It has many kinds habitat of landscape units, but it land-use was changed by human behavior in recent years, maybe could influence the stability of ecological environment. In this study, we use the composition and configuration of landscape to explore the habitat situation, land use management and Partition limits. By 1976, 1993, 2003, 2009, 2011 and 2012 of orthophotos distinguish seven kinds of land use types. Landscape indices were used to investigate changes in land-use and ecological impact of habitat, including full-field, protected areas and non-protected areas. The results show Long-Luan Lake area has a rich diversity of habitats, but caused by slight changes in land loss habitat and environmental stability. Protected areas due to limiting land-use behavior, has a good environment of stable habitat. Non-protected area is influenced by human activities, so that the environment worse than habitat protection areas.

The Impact of Community Tourism on Environmental Education and Community Development and Corresponding Strategies.

In 2010, the government of R.O.C. (Taiwan) promulgated the Environmental Education Act,which requires public enterprises, institutions and schools to conduct environmental educationprograms for their employees every year. The outdoor learning component of the program musttake place in  a qualified “environmental educational facility or site”. The community environment offers a wealth of diverse and local resources for environmental education, endowing it with thepotential to become a “community-based environmental education center”. Besides serving as a site for formal environmental education, a community-based environmental education center may also become a recreational destination. When  developed into a "community tourism destination", a community enjoys growth opportunities and extra revenue conducive to  its sustainable development. One of the key characteristics of community tourism is the community is empowered through the self-management process, which enhances the awareness and pride of the community as a whole. However, community tourism also creates negative impact on the community. All of the dimensions mentioned above require in-depth examination.

Adaptation in High Risk Watershed Area.

According to studies, different cognitive and attitude will affect its residents

prepare for and respond to disasters, and influence the extent of the damage caused by

the disaster. If you do not understand how residents view the disaster will not be able

to develop appropriate prevention policies, to undertake effective disaster prevention

measures. Therefore this study explores high risk catchment area residents ' attitudes,

behaviors, and their corresponding educational strategy for disaster prevention,

environmental psychology as a theoretical basis, through interviews, questionnaire

surveys and quantitative analysis methods, systematically identify attributes of

different backgrounds, ethnicity, region of residence on the resident disaster

prevention connections between attitudes and behavior.

Study on Taijing Green Energy Design and Model Making .

In sustainable development research, the issue of low-carbon architecture and local climate adjustment are the aims of the world. The study used the 3E (Ecological, Economical, Energy-saving) in architecture design, including local needs approaching, construction costs reducing, as the main concept of the study. Based on the climate data, cultural environment, local industry, and resources of Taijiang area, the study used local green energy and architectural methods referring to local culture, to design green architecture adapted to local use and environment.
